Visit www.palcofirst.com to explore opportunities. We are seeking an ETL Developer II to join our growing team. This is a fully remote, work-from-home position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, enhancing, and administering ETL processes, ensuring seamless data integration across internal systems, and supporting various teams with reliable data solutions. This role is integral to the development of data-centric tools and processes and will work closely with a small, remote team. Duties and Responsibilities Design, create, and enhance ETL processes to support internal teams and business functions. Administer and maintain the ETL ecosystem, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and performance. Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand application business logic and deliver effective integration solutions. Generate reports and queries from various databases to support data-driven decision-making or business processes. Continuously improve and automate data workflows, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and reliability. Work with APIs and integration tools to facilitate data exchange between systems. Proactively identify and resolve issues in data pipelines, ensuring smooth operations. Requirements 3+ years of experience working with relational databases and SQL. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 3+ years of experience with ETL tools (e.g., Talend, SSIS, Informatica, or similar). 3+ years of experience using Excel for data manipulation and reporting. Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman) and working with APIs for integrations. Familiarity with BI and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar). Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Ability to apply smart, effective solutions to unique data challenges. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with data governance and data quality best practices. Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
