Job Title: Estimator
Location: Bangor, ME
Salary: $75K-$120K (Depending on Experience)
Requirements: 5+ Years of Estimating Experience

Ā Strong Electrical Utility Experience
Ā Understanding of Standard Electrical Systems
Ā Experience in Transmission and Distribution Construction Projects
What You Will Be Doing
Ā Prepare estimates by calculating the complete scope of work
Ā Review contracts, proposal specifications, drawings, attend pre-bid meetings, to determine scope of work and required contents of the estimate
Ā Assist in developing and supporting the proposal response to include writing work plans, schedule development, etc
Ā Review and include data from past projects, subcontracts, productivity analysis reports, etc
Ā Review all final estimate packages with team prior to the formal quotation to ensure accuracy and completeness
Ā Manage the RFP process for any necessary suppliers and subcontractors
Ā Provide engineering and cost data to assist in the final evaluation of bid/proposal
Ā Follow awarded contracts which may include estimating extra work items, credits, change orders, procurement of material, etc
Ā Facilitate the contract handoff to the appropriate Project Manager to include job cost tracking and productivity analysis
Ā Assume additional duties and responsibilities as requested by leadership
