ERP Data Migration Specialist
Location: Fully Remote (Offshore)
Pay Range: $8–$12 USD per hour
Schedule: Part-Time | 20 hours per week (Monday–Friday) Flexible working hours (must meet agreed deadlines and occasional overlap as needed)
Role Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Data Migration & Systems Stabilization Specialist to assist with a focused data integrity and alignment initiative within our Deltek Vantagepoint environment.
This role will drive the normalization, validation, and architectural alignment of CRM and project data to ensure accuracy, reliability, and executive-level reporting confidence. The ideal candidate will operate in a fast-paced environment, resolve complex data mapping challenges, and implement scalable data quality controls.
Key Objectives:
The primary mandate of this role is to:
Validate and normalize migrated CRM and project data
Preserve ID integrity and relational consistency across systems
Resolve mapping inconsistencies and field-level misalignment
Implement structured data quality controls
Support controlled sandbox testing prior to production updates
Ensure reporting accuracy for leadership stakeholders
Core Responsibilities:
ERP Data Migration & Validation
Conduct structured reconciliation of CRM and project records
Identify and resolve mapping inconsistencies between source systems and ERP
Validate project hierarchy and top-level structure alignment
Support controlled re-imports and update cycles
Data Quality & Governance:
Develop SQL-based validation scripts and reconciliation queries
Implement monitoring mechanisms to ensure data accuracy and consistency
Design processes to prevent duplicate record creation
Establish short-term and long-term data integrity controls
ELT / ETL & Pipeline Management:
Build and modify ELT/ETL workflows
Ensure reliable data flow between ERP, CRM, and BI environments
Monitor pipeline accuracy and performance
Business Intelligence & Insight Support:
Validate reporting logic and dashboard accuracy
Ensure opportunity and pipeline metrics reflect authoritative data
Generate executive-ready validation and reconciliation summaries
Systems Architecture & Problem Solving:
Analyze and resolve moderately complex data and system design issues
Leverage and adapt existing methods and procedures as needed
Support system design improvements to enhance scalability and reliability
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in ERP data migration, data engineering, or data science
Strong SQL skills (advanced querying and reconciliation)
Python experience for data transformation and validation
BI tool experience (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
Experience with relational data models and ID preservation strategies
Familiarity with system design and data architecture concepts
Ability to independently execute in a high-accountability environment
