Equipment Coordinator (XD Department)

About the role
• CCO operational opportunities are the positions that support the hands-on campus ministry of the organization.
• This position will require periodic trips to the CCO's equipment rooms - located in Central, PA and Pittsburgh.
Purpose of the position:
• This part-time (average of 10-20 hours per week) position will oversee Equipment operations for XD. The staff person will also collaborate with Activity Area Point Persons (AAPP) to ensure that each activity area equipment is functioning at an optimum level. Will be held accountable from the XD Assistant Director.
Qualifications/Requirements
• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher
• Experience: Has experience in the backcountry and has a working knowledge and passion for technical gear.
• Location: While this position can be done remotely - the candidate will need to live within an acceptable distance from Pittsburgh and Central, PA to maintain the equipment room(s).
Job Description:
• Establish and maintain a current inventory of XD's equipment
• Determine what equipment will be stored at each Equipment Room location
• Manage all logistics of what equipment is needed for each trip, how it will be transported before and after the event, and what repairs are needed and how those will be completed
• Brainstorm locations and concepts for new equipment room to replace the current one located in Zelienople.

CCO XD staff people are responsible to raise financial support. toward covering their salary and other employment costs. This amount varies based on position and education & experience of staff.
