Job Summary The Entry Level Process Engineer will play a critical role in analyzing and improving our manufacturing processes, ensuring the highest levels of efficiency, productivity, and product quality. Key Responsibilities Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement in quality, productivity, and cost-effectiveness, developing and implementing innovative solutions to enhance process performance. Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot process issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence, ensuring seamless operations and minimal downtime. Conduct experiments, data analysis, and statistical evaluations to optimize process parameters, ensuring product quality meets or exceeds specifications and regulatory requirements. Participate in the development of process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions, ensuring consistency and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Provide technical support for production activities, including equipment setup, operation, and maintenance, and stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in process engineering. Support new product development and scale-up activities by providing technical expertise and conducting feasibility studies, collaborating with suppliers and vendors to evaluate new technologies, materials, and equipment. Contribute to cross-functional projects aimed at improving overall operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, driving innovation and growth within our organization. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, with a strong foundation in engineering principles, mathematics, and statistics. 6 months-2 years of experience within a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of process optimization techniques, Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and statistical analysis. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to interpret data, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions. Demonstrated project management abilities, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities, with a proactive mindset and a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Basic understanding of quality management systems, i.e., ISO standards, and experience with CAD software, with 3D printing experience being a plus. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of industry-specific software and technologies, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems. Certifications or training in Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies, with a strong commitment to ongoing learning and professional development. Experience with data analysis and statistical software, with a strong ability to interpret and present data insights to stakeholders. Skills and Competencies Analytical skills: ability to collect and analyze data, identify trends, and develop effective solutions. Communication skills: ability to communicate complex ideas and technical information to non-technical stakeholders, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Problem-solving skills: ability to troubleshoot problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions, with a strong understanding of process optimization techniques and Lean manufacturing principles. Project management skills: ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines, with a strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools. Collaboration and teamwork: ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and build strong relationships with colleagues and external partners.
