Entry Level OSP Cable Technician (Outside Plant)
Job Description
We are seeking entry-level helpers for outside plant telecom projects. This position requires working outdoors, and candidates must be reliable, eager to work, and motivated to grow within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Ā Support outside plant construction crews in day-to-day activities, including open trenching, PVC pipe laying, cable/conduit runs, equipment handling, inventory, mounting equipment, and hanging strand.
Ā Act as the lead's "Right Hand" to help complete projects on time.
Ā Meet at the yard and travel with leads to job sites.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Ā Strong listening abilities, great communication, and work ethic.
Ā Punctuality and ability to work in teams of four (Foreman, Equipment Operator, 2 laborers).
Ā Quick learner with the ability to retain information and take initiative.
Ā DOT cleared.
