Job Description:
As a Multilingual Journalist, you will be at the forefront of news reporting for the Japanese and multilingual community in the US. Your role will involve conducting online interviews, covering breaking news, and creating compelling content that resonates with our audience. No prior journalist experience is required for the entry level journalist position. Excellent communication in Japanese and English is required. We will provide training and hands on experience to get you started in this exciting career path.
Responsibilities:
Conduct online interviews with individuals from various backgrounds in English and Japanese. Cover a wide range of topics, including local events, cultural stories, and national news, with a focus on issues relevant to the Japanese community. Produce well-researched, fact-checked, and engaging content for our digital platforms. Collaborate with the editorial team to develop story ideas and follow through on leads. Maintain a strong online presence and engage with our audience through social media channels. Stay up-to-date with current events and trends within the Japanese community in the US. Qualifications: Proficiency in Japanese and English. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills.
