Job Overview Key Responsibilities Accurately enter data into various systems and databases, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accurate. Verify data by comparing it to source documents, identifying and correcting any discrepancies or errors. Update existing data and eliminate duplicate information, maintaining the integrity and consistency of our databases. Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested, providing timely and efficient support to our team members. Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation, safeguarding our critical information and preventing data loss. Handle confidential information responsibly, maintaining the highest level of discretion and adhering to our data protection policies. Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a strong foundation in basic education. Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position is preferred, although we are willing to train the right candidate. Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets, including MS Office Word and Excel. Basic understanding of databases and experience with data entry software, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems. Good command of English, both oral and written, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Preferred Qualifications Post-secondary education in a related field, such as business administration or computer science. Advanced knowledge of database management systems and data analysis tools.
