As an Enterprise Solutions Engineer at Vanta, you’ll be leading the technical discussion with our mid-market customer base & VIP logos side-by-side with our Enterprise Sales team. Your main goal, ensure there’s nothing stopping our customers from realizing the fullest value with Vanta in pursuit of their own security goals and successful customer retention.At Vanta, our mission is to secure the internet and protect consumer data. You’ll be an integral part of the Enterprise team, working pre-sales to consult and create innovative solutions for our customers. Your attention to detail focused on customer needs will drive stickiness and ensure customers are realizing value from onboarding through adoption, culminating with renewal year-over-year. This will ultimately improve retention and overall success of our Sales teams and customers while helping to collect customer references, case studies, and product feedback to influence product roadmap.What you’ll do as a Enterprise Solutions Engineer at Vanta:Own the technical relationship with our customers, including:Partnering with Account Executive to provide prospects with a seamless onboarding and adoption experience with a focus on key integrations across their cloud infrastructure, version control and security systemsSupporting and assisting the Sales team with aspects of the process including security reviews, implementation plans, technical qualification calls, and quarterly business reviewsPromptly respond to inbound questions and other support requests from the Sales teamDevelop a deep understanding of our product capabilities, integrations, configurations messaging, partner ecosystem, and competitive landscapeListen carefully to customers to provide market feedback to the product team and help prioritize functionality needed to drive opportunities within our Upmarket segmentBuild product examples, documentation, and other critical resources for our customers side by side with product, Success, and other stakeholdersCultivate an environment of teamwork, openness, creativity, and continuous improvementHow to be successful in this role:3-5 years of pre-sales customer-facing, technical experience as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer or equivalent titleHands-on experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure & Operating Systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux) and cloud application architectureStrong project management skills with a proven ability to operate in a startup environment that lacks structure of a larger organizationYou are creative, curious. technical, and naturally persuasiveYou are detail-oriented and organizedYou love listening to customers, discussing strategy with colleagues, but also diving into the weedsYou can interact with various titles and roles within an organization including the technical and security-minded, plus executives within large companiesGeneral knowledge with a scripting language (Python, Ruby, Bash, and JavaScript) and a desire to expand those skillsFamiliarity with REST API development and service integrations is a plusIdeally has prior B2B SaaS experienceWhat you can expect as a Vantan:Industry-competitive compensation100% covered medical, dental, and vision benefits with dependents coverage16 weeks fully-paid parental Leave for all new parentsHealth & wellness and remote workplace stipendsFamily planning benefits through Carrot Fertility401(k) matchingFlexible work hours and locationOpen PTO policy11 paid holidays in the USOffices in SF, NYC, London, Dublin, and SydneyTo provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all US-based job postings regardless of state.
