Remote U.S.-Based Bookkeeper (Contractor Role)
Pay: Starts at $20–$25/hour, depending on experience

Must-Haves:
• Based in the U.S. (excluding CA, CO, MT, NJ, NY, PA)
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
• Bookkeeping experience (1+ years required; 3+ preferred)
• Payroll processing knowledge
• Excellent communication and responsiveness
• Availability during regular U.S. business hours
What You'll Do:
• Process weekly bill payments and handle reconciliations
• Manage budgets, journal entries, and cash flow
• Prepare financial reports (P&L, balance sheets, budget vs. actual)
• Maintain charts of accounts and manage card transactions
• Process payroll and prepare 1099s
• File sales tax and support e-commerce bookkeeping as needed
• Use tools like QuickBooks Online, Gusto, Bill.com, and more
