What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide standards-based targeted instruction in virtual classrooms according to California ELD Standards
- Support students with content area coursework and provide additional one-to-one assistance
- Monitor student attendance and engagement, ensuring academic growth
- Conduct virtual meetings with students at least once per quarter and attend one in-person event each quarter
- Proctor state testing as required
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Permanent California Residence in one of the 42 counties serviced by the employer
- Valid/current Preliminary/Clear/Life California Multiple or Single Subject teaching credential
- California English Learner Authorization issued by CTC
- Must have all required documents at the time of application
- Commitment to teaching all grades K-12
