Engineering Summer Internships

Join Siemens Healthineers as an Engineering Intern for a 10-12 week hybrid internship starting Summer 2026, contributing to impactful medical device projects.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:
• Participate in multiple phases of Engineering/Manufacturing Design & Development processes.
• Support engineering and design activities using tools such as Solidworks, 3D CAD Software, AutoCAD, Matlab, and Siemens NX.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address project requirements and challenges.
• Deliver presentations to peers and leadership to communicate project findings.
• Engage in the Healthineers culture by joining Employee Resource Groups and attending learning, development, and community activities.

About You

The company is looking for candidates who have:
• Successful completion of coursework within an engineering major.
• Hands-on experience with relevant engineering tools and databases.
• Experience with engineering software tools in their area of expertise.
• Exceptional problem-solving and reasoning skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Solid grasp of general engineering fundamentals, mathematics, physics, and material properties.
• Current enrollment in an accredited Bachelor's or Master's degree program with intention to return to school after the internship.

Compensation & Benefits
• Hourly pay range of $24-$40, varying by education, skills, and experience.
• Paid time off for interns.

• Weekly curated learning, professional development, and networking sessions exclusive to the intern cohort.
• Opportunities to contribute to projects within various business units including Varian, Molecular Imaging, Diagnostics, Point-of-Care, Endovascular Robotics, and Customer Sales & Service.
