We lead confidential searches for leadership and critical roles across a range of company stages, industries, and functions About the Role A leading fintech infrastructure company is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the development of a high-impact API product connecting with top digital asset exchanges. You’ll drive strategy, architecture, and execution for a critical B2B integration platform used by partner engineering teams across the globe. This fully remote role favors candidates based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Key Responsibilities • Lead engineering for a core API product that enables digital asset operations through external exchange integrations. • Collaborate closely with partner organizations to co-develop or align on private APIs, managing technical negotiations and implementations. • Oversee a team of skilled engineers and partner cross-functionally with Product, Program, and other Engineering leaders. • Maintain technical contributions to stay current with system architecture and Go codebase. • Establish and refine engineering processes that drive quality, velocity, and reliability. • Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering talent, including career growth planning. • Contribute to organization-wide technical strategy and roadmap development. Qualifications & Skills • 10+ years in software engineering, including 5+ in engineering leadership roles. • Proven track record building robust APIs/SDKs for B2B or financial integrations. • Proficiency in Golang (Go), with familiarity in TypeScript and React. • Deep understanding of blockchain protocols, crypto transactions, and custody/security practices. • Experienced with high-throughput distributed systems and sub-second latency requirements. • Skilled in client-facing collaboration and technical consultation with external partners. • Strong knowledge of compliance (KYC/AML), financial data privacy, and API security.
