Lead a team of engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy innovative ML tools. Identify and prioritize key areas for improvement in existing ML tooling and drive continuous enhancements. Work closely with the ML research team to understand their needs and provide technical guidance and support. Stay updated with the latest advancements in ML research tooling and incorporate them into our processes and tools. Oversee the development and maintenance of ML tooling infrastructure, ensuring its scalability and reliability. Set and monitor key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness and impact of the ML tooling. Mentor and coach team members to grow their technical skills and foster a culture of continuous learning. Collaborate with other engineering managers to align on technical priorities and ensure efficient resource utilization.
