What you will get to do: As a QA Engineer with Xperi, you will be part of an agile team with developers and other testers. Together, you will deliver new features and improve the quality of our TiVo OS Smart TV products. Our product is developed using a state-of-the-art web technology stack, including: TypeScript / JavaScript HTML / CSS NodeJS Puppeteer test automation Your day-to-day activities will include: Conducting integration, functional, regression, exploratory and acceptance testing Cooperating closely with developers, testing new features and analyzing defects Reporting defects and preparing test reports with test results Writing, reviewing and managing documentation (Test Cases, Test Reports, etc.) Who we are looking for: Must have: Knowledge and understanding of testing standards, methods and processes Knowledge of Agile Methodologies (Scrum, Kanban etc.) Ability to read and interpret functional and technical specifications in English Very good spoken and written English (B2) Willingness and solid attitude to take initiative and responsibility Proficient communication skills Basic knowledge of Linux based systems Nice to have: Experience as a tester in embedded systems Experience in using Chrome DevTools Experience in test automation Experience using Jira/Confluence tools ISTQB Certificate or equivalent Programming skills in JavaScript What will make you successful: Your ability to work together with developers and other testers in the team, helping the team work more efficiently and achieve more Your keen sense to find issues in the product in unexpected ways, helping us find important issues before end-users do Your curiosity, interest and ability to learn multiple facets of the product and the company, helping you gain a wider perspective of issues you see and ideas you have for improvements Your personal interest to learn and grow, giving you a chance to move your career with us forward in the right direction for you Life @ Xperi: At Xperi, we value People, Customers, Performance and Innovation.
