The Engineering Design Professional-Structures will perform structural analysis, design tasks, and engineering modeling assignments for various building types, assisting project teams from conceptual design to final construction documentation. Responsibilities Works closely as a member of one or more project teams and assists to complete projects on aggressive schedules Performs all work in a clear, complete, and accurate manner Checks Revit models for clearances, potential conflicts, and relationships of the various parts to the whole and to one another Implements and utilizes HOK Best Practices for projects and processes Actively seeks new knowledge related to structural engineering practices, principles and regulations changes Takes personal responsibility for fostering a green workplace through sustainable work practices Performs structural design and analysis for various structural materials, including steel, concrete, and concrete masonry Develops, modifies and reviews models, plans, details and drawings of structural engineering systems and components according to established standards and Revit modeling techniques, based on input (sketches, layouts and verbal instructions) from the structural engineering team Organizes and maintains models and documents for multiple projects Utilizes knowledge and experience in applying modeling principles for complete and accurate drawings Produces drawing charts for schedules and data, making changes and adjustments as necessary with input from the structural engineering team as required Skills Bachelor's degree in engineering High school diploma or equivalent required One year of Revit modeling experience working on a wide variety of building types and sizes, such as commercial, corporate, institutional and civic, justice, aviation and healthcare facilities Experience working with a variety of structural materials and systems LEED accreditation or Green Associate preferred Master's degree in structural engineering preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field preferred Benefits 10 paid holidays (including 2 floating holidays) 4 weeks of paid time off with a cash out optionComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage Free mental wellness resources Life and AD&D coverage Short and long-term disability benefits 4 weeks of paid parental leave Fertility coverage Matching contributions to our 401(K) plan Financial support and study prep for licensure exams CEU credit opportunities Mentorship programs Paid professional memberships Company Overview HOK is an international architecture and engineering firm.It was founded in 2009, and is headquartered in Istanbul, Istanbul, TUR, with a workforce of 1001-5000 employees.
