Job Summary We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Campus Immersion Tutor (C) to work with students in a face-to-face environment at various schools across Dallas, TX. As a tutor, you will be responsible for providing academic support in a variety of subjects, developing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and communicating with parents and teachers as needed. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one academic support to students in a variety of subjects, including Science, Social Studies, Math, and Reading. Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to meet the needs of individual students. Assess student progress and communicate with parents and teachers as needed. Build strong relationships with students, parents, and teachers to ensure a supportive learning environment. Utilize technology, including email, texting, Slack, and Google Sheets/Excel, to communicate and manage student data. Work with up to 15 students at a time, adapting to the needs of each student. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance tutoring skills and knowledge. Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must: Be eligible to work in the United States of America and have a valid Social Security Number. Be committed to tutoring for the duration of the assignment, with a possibility of extension. Have reliable transportation and be able to attend in-person tutoring sessions in a timely and consistent manner. Possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt and relate to students from diverse backgrounds. Have a selfless commitment to making a difference in students' lives, with compassion for all students. Be technologically savvy, with proficiency in email, texting, Slack, and Google Sheets/Excel. Have a college degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral) or be a college student with at least 60 hours of credit hours. Have a minimum of 1-2 years of mentoring, tutoring, or teaching experience in a classroom or school environment. Be skilled in any grade level of Math, Science, Social Studies, or Reading. Be able to work with 1 to 15 students at a time. Preferred Qualifications: We prefer candidates who: Are certified teachers with SBEC or other teacher state licensure certification. Are retired teachers with SBEC or other teacher state licensure certification. Have experience working with students who are learning to speak English. Are bilingual in Spanish.
