Employee Benefits Account Specialist

Foundation Risk Partners is one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the US, seeking an Employee Benefits Account Specialist to join their LBW team. The role involves supporting Sales, Account Management, and Underwriting teams with client account activities, including data gathering, report preparation, and client communication.ResponsibilitiesGathering all necessary data to fulfill our obligations (including the outreach to carriers and client to secure information)Supporting the team with the preparation, analysis and delivery of materials that makeup the deliverable (i.e. exhibits, reports and presentations)Completing/fulfilling assigned implementation tasks associated with client related projectsCoordinating activities and successfully completing regulatory tasks (i.e. 5500’s, ACA and other notices/disclosures) throughout the yearPrepare standard and ad-hoc reports (as needed)Tracking receipt of deliverables and update the Annual Action Plan to ensure both the accuracy and timeliness of materialsParticipating (whenever appropriate) in client meetings/presentationsAt various times throughout the year (i.e. Open Enrollment), prepare and review employee education and communication materials (i.e. Benefit Guides)Assist in the coordination Open Enrollment activities (includes conducting meetings)Perform necessary steps (including timely follow-up) to help resolve client service or claim issues/inquiries and/or administrative concernsInteract with carriers and vendors on behalf of the client and the teamSkillsState Specific Resident Life & Health License is required within six months from date of hireStrong attention to detail, well organized and responsiveProficient in MS Office SuiteAbility to quickly learn new skillsAbility to establish relationshipsStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to multi-task and demonstrate composure/resilience under pressure - Comfortable switching between clients and tasks to meet deadlinesBasic understanding of insurance and healthcareWillingness to learn regulatory and compliance matters, including healthcare reformBachelor's Degree preferredKnowledge of EASE or Employee Navigator is a plusBenefitsFRP offers a comprehensive range of health-related benefit options including medical, vision, and dental.We offer a 401(k) with company match.Company paid life insurance.STD.LTD.A generous PTO policy starting at 18 days per year plus 10 paid holidays & 2 floating holidays!Company OverviewFoundation Risk Partners is born of decades of insurance expertise and leadership.
