We are looking for an Email & SMS Marketing Assistant to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting the delivery of premium digital customer experiences through the execution of high-quality email and SMS campaigns. Working in partnership with the Email & SMS Marketing Manager, this role owns the creative execution of campaign contentâtranslating strategic direction into polished, Photoshop-driven email templates and concise, engaging SMS messaging. This is a fully remote position.
General Responsibilities
⢠Creative Execution: Build and stage 5 weekly email campaigns and 2 SMS campaigns within Klaviyo, ensuring 100% accuracy in links, tags, and design.
⢠Visual Design: Utilize Photoshop to create stunning email layouts. You will be responsible for taking raw brand lifestyle imagery and transforming it into cohesive, high-end email banners and assets.
⢠Flow Optimization: Revamp the creative look and feel of our automated flows (Welcome Series, Abandoned Cart, etc.) to ensure they align with the 1800-Lighting premium aesthetic.
⢠Copywriting: Draft engaging subject lines and urgency-driven SMS copy. Youâll start by executing provided briefs and eventually move into full ownership of the brand voice.
⢠Brand Testing: Build out new template variations for A/B testing as directed by the Email and SMS Marketing Manager to help us find the winning "look" for specific lighting categories.
⢠Asset Management: Coordinate with our brand partnersâ imagery to ensure our promotions always feature the latest and most aspirational products.
⢠Ensure accuracy of content, links, product details, pricing, and promotions prior to deployment.
⢠Additional duties as required
Requirements:
⢠Technical Proficiency: Deep familiarity with Klaviyo (lists, segments, and flow builder) and Google Suite.
⢠Design Mastery: High proficiency in Adobe Photoshop. You should understand how to design for "mobile-first" and create assets that load quickly without sacrificing quality.
⢠Lighting/Home Decor Aesthetic: An eye for interior design. You understand how to showcase a product where "vibes" and lighting temperature matter.
⢠Execution-Focused: You thrive on a "get it done" workflow. You can take a strategy brief and turn it into a ready-to-send campaign independently.
⢠Growth Potential: An interest in eventually learning the data/analytics side of 1800Lightingâs marketing engine.
