Key Responsibilities:

Teach music classes to elementary students, developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that align with state and district curricular requirements

Evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to ensure students meet their full potential
Collaborate with colleagues and administrators to develop and implement school-wide music programs and initiatives
Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and the community to promote music education and encourage student participation

Requirements:

Illinois State certificate in music education or a related field
Bachelor's degree in music education or a related field
Ability to function effectively as a member of the school staff and contribute to a positive school culture
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities in a fast-paced educational environment
