This role is pivotal in maintaining DWC’s high standards across compliance reporting, consulting projects, and plan documentation. The Reviewer not only ensures technical precision but also enhances the client experience through clear communication and strategic insights. This position also plays a key role in mentoring team members and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Job Responsibilities Responsible for the quality control and review of all DWC deliverables including:Annual compliance reporting, contribution calculations, non-discrimination testing, and government reporting prepared by the compliance team.Consulting projects including late deposits, missed deferral opportunities, VFCP, and VCP submissions.Plan documents, restatements, and amendmentsIn addition to reviewing for completeness and accuracy of the technical aspects of client deliverables, reviewers are also ensuring:Explanations and details prepared for clients as part of these deliverables are written in a client-friendly and easy to understand mannerOpportunities for enhancement to plan design or future considerations for the plan sponsor are addressed within annual reportingReviewers should approach the review of consultant work as a training and development opportunity for team members. It is critical that a reviewer:Provide detailed constructive feedback with each review to help ensure quality of team members’ work improves over timeWillingness and ability to work one on one with team members to offer technical support on projectsHold team members to standards of the highest quality
Requirements
Proven experience in retirement plan compliance, preferably within a TPA or consulting environmentStrong understanding of 401(k) plan operations, ERISA regulations, and IRS/DOL correction programsExceptional attention to detail and analytical skillsExcellent written communication with a focus on client-friendly languageDemonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior team membersCommitment to maintaining high-quality standards and continuous improvementRemote Work InformationFor all virtual remote positions, in order to ensure employees can effectively perform their job duties with no distractions, we require an uninterrupted virtual work space and there is also an expectation of family care being in place during business hours. Additionally, there is an internet work speed requirement of 50 MBps or better for individual use. Please ensure that you are able to meet these expectations before applying.Compensation InformationThe average salary for this position is expected to be between $77,000 and $100,000 however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We do not anticipate candidates to be paid at the top of the range however, from time to time, it may occur on a case-by-case basis.
