Divisional Accounts Receivable Specialist

SUMMARY Responsible for the daily Accounts Receivable process to research outstanding accounts receivable items and cross-collaborate across teams in resolutions. Assists in special projects as assigned, and assists Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist as necessary. This opportunity falls under our Alliant Specialty division. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Generates and send monthly accounts receivable reports. Handles requests for information on account corrections, premium finance and/or transfers. Conducts special research, analysis, and reconciliation projects as assigned. Follows up on accounting problems that arise within the scope of the position. Analyzes data to ensure proper accounting procedures have been followed. Provides assistance across teams in resolution of outstanding receivables. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience One (1) or more years of accounts receivable or administrative experience SKILLS Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to organize and prioritize workload Basic knowledge of accounting terms Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork Proficient in Microsoft Office products #LI-DM1 # LI-REMOTE We are proud to provide comprehensive, high quality employee programs to meet employees’ needs now and in the future, including a very competitive financial package.
