Division Vice President, Marketing (Virtual, US, 99999)

We are seeking an experienced Marketing leader to oversee AMETEK’s Advanced Motion Solutions (AMS) Division’s Global Marketing Team. You will develop, implement, monitor, and drive global commercial and digital marketing strategies to enhance the division’s growth. The successful candidate will be highly strategic, maintain an executive presence, and play a significant role in the marketing strategy for the AMS Division. This position reports to the Vice President/General Manager of the AMS Division.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
• Oversee all marketing communication in a matrix environment; ensure compliance and introduce best practices.
• Develop and implement uniform messaging across AMS brands.
• Optimize AI and digital tools; champion e-commerce initiatives.
• Ensure CRM data quality and usage consistency; leverage LCR resources for efficiency.
• Track and optimize marketing spend.
• Team Mentorship: Mentor and develop BU marketing teams across several time zones
• Consistency & Improvement: Improve upon the division’s marketing strategy at both the division and business unit levels, applying consistency in approach where practical.
Digital Marketing:
• Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels (web, social media, email, paid advertising, SEO/SEM).
• Leverage data analytics and marketing automation tools to optimize campaign performance and ROI.
• Stay current with digital marketing trends and technologies, implementing best practices to drive engagement and conversion.

Stakeholder Engagement: Use creative marketing strategies to build relationships with stakeholders. Provide real-time data tracking and analytics for more targeted and personalized marketing campaigns.

Competitive Tracking: Track activities of competitors and look for opportunities to gain market share within each business unit.

Brand Awareness: Increase brand awareness for each business unit through development and implementation of a cohesive marketing plan.
Organic Business Development:
• Research macro trends and develop penetration strategy for relevant BU brands.
• Assess early trends/new applications to provide input to product roadmaps
• Champion division wide market segment focused growth kaizens
Inorganic Business Development:
• Work with Division and Corporate Business Development to identify targets for acquisition both in motion and adjacent OEM markets.
Strategic Impact:
• Strengthen AMS brand architecture and global messaging.
• Drive demand generation, pricing discipline, and product lifestyle management.
• Establish marketing performance metrics (pipeline growth, ROMI, price/mix improvement).
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in a senior marketing role; 12-15 years in B2B industrial marketing leadership with multi-business unit responsibly.
• Experience working with and managing team members in low-cost regions of the world.
• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and project management skills.
• Strong strategic agility, commercial acumen and ability to lead in a matrix environment
• B.S. degree in relevant fields such as Marketing, Business Administration, or technical (STEM degree) with a marketing background. MBA preferred.
• Ability to understand complex and technical products and customer solutions is a must.
• Understanding of market nuances across various countries and regions to ensure effective messaging
