This individual will be responsible for the accurate estimating and purchasing of door, frame, and hardware packages for commercial projects. If you're experienced in the DFH industry and looking for a dynamic, growth-focused role, this opportunity may be for you. Key Responsibilities • Analyze project specifications and collaborate with sales to develop bidding strategies • Identify and address discrepancies in project documentation • Create detailed takeoffs and estimates, including material, freight, engineering, and labor • Utilize internal estimating tools and spreadsheets to compile cost projections • Source quotes from manufacturers and vendors in a timely, organized manner • Manage buyouts related to DFH scopes and coordinate pricing accordingly Qualifications Minimum Requirements • Experience: 2+ years in the Door, Frame, and Hardware industry • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent • Skills: • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specs • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite • Strong written and verbal communication • Effective time management and attention to detail • Solid organizational and problem-solving skills • Comfortable working independently or in a team environment Preferred Qualifications • Familiarity with industry-specific estimating software (e.g., ISEC tools) • Experience coordinating outsourced vendor pricing and manufacturer quotes Customer Service & Team Culture • Displays a commitment to both internal and external customer satisfaction • Proactively solves issues and follows up to ensure resolution • Maintains a positive, professional demeanor with colleagues and clients • Strong accountability and follow-through • Builds rapport through clear communication and a friendly approach Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Solid Rock Recruiting is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity recruiting firm.
