Key Responsibilities:

Order Picking:
• Accurately pick items from storage places based on provided pick tickets or order lists.
• Verify the correct quantity of items is chosen and double-check product specifics like measurements, variety, and whereabouts.
• Implement handheld tools or barcode scanners for monitoring product transitions.

Packing:
• Systematically place items into packaging, ensuring they are well-protected and neatly arranged for shipping.
• Seal and tag packages according to specified instructions to safeguard them during transportation.
• Efficiently utilize packing space to minimize shipping costs and mitigate the risk of items being damaged during transit.

Inventory Management:
• Aid with organizing and keeping track of the right inventory levels in the warehouse.
• Inform management of any inventory inconsistencies or products that have sustained damage.
• Restock inventory as required to meet the needs of future orders.

Loading & Staging:
• Utilize pallet jacks or forklifts to move packed orders to the designated staging or shipping area.
• Offer assistance in loading trucks with prepared shipments when required.

Quality Control:
• Confirm the accuracy and quality of assembled orders by conducting final checks.
• Scrutinize packaging materials and items to validate their conformity with business requirements.

Safety and Compliance:
• Adhere to safety regulations and company protocols to avoid accidents and ensure a safe work environment.
• Safely use warehouse machinery like forklifts and pallet jacks, following the guidance provided during your training.
• Notify supervisors immediately of any potential hazards or unsafe conditions.

Efficiency and Productivity:
• Reach or exceed daily productivity quotas by efficiently accomplishing designated tasks.
• Participate in efforts to continuously enhance the efficiency of warehouse operations.

Required Qualifications:
• Attainment of a high school diploma or an equivalent is expected.
• Candidates who have experience in warehouse operations or an equivalent position are preferred.
• Aptitude for regularly hoisting, ferrying, and repositioning goods that are up to 50 lbs in weight.
• Sharp attentiveness to fine details and exactness.
• Essential capabilities in numerical operations and textual understanding.
• Capability to function well in a dynamic work setting and achieve output goals.

Work Environment:
• Warehouse location with exposure to varying temperatures.
• Full-time and part-time shifts are on offer, with the potential for additional hours beyond regular schedules.
