About the position
The Distribution Center Forklift Operator is responsible for various processes within the distribution center, including receiving, order selection, auditing, cycle counting, and shipping. This role requires attention to detail and experience in distribution center operations, ensuring efficient handling of products and adherence to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
? Unload product from manufacturing plants and vendors using standup forklift equipment.

? Receive materials using scan guns and packing slip documents, verifying parts and quantity.
,
? Put away pallets into the proper storage location using scan guns.
,
? Pull customer orders using man-up order picker equipment and scan guns for product location and quantity.
,
? Count products, build orders on pallets safely, and stage pallets for final audit.
,
? Print and apply packing slips, pallet labels, and shipping information on orders.
,
? Finalize pallets by stretch wrapping and staging for outbound shipping.
,
? Verify outbound customer orders for proper product and quantity using scan guns and order documents.
,
? Load orders onto outbound trailers using standup forklift equipment.
,
? Utilize corporate safety processes to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
? 2+ years of experience in a distribution center.
,
? 2 years of experience using Standup Reach, Sit down forklift, and Order Picking Equipment (Cherry Pickers).

? Must have cycle counting experience.
,
? Must pass a full background check and drug test.
