Dispatcher and Customer Service Representative
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Dispatch / Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this dual-role position, you will be responsible for coordinating the scheduling and dispatching of service calls, while also providing exceptional customer support. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong communication skills, and is capable of multitasking with accuracy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:Dispatching:
⢠Schedule and dispatch service technicians, drivers, or field staff based on customer needs and availability.
⢠Monitor field staff locations and job statuses to optimize route efficiency and response times.
⢠Communicate job details, instructions, and updates to field personnel in real time.
⢠Adjust schedules as needed due to cancellations, delays, or emergencies.
Customer Service:
⢠Answer incoming calls and emails from customers regarding service requests, inquiries, or issues.
⢠Provide accurate information about services, scheduling, and follow-up procedures.
⢠Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and deescalate as necessary.
⢠Maintain customer records in CRM or dispatch software systems.
Administrative Support:
⢠Input and update job tickets, customer data, and service records.
⢠Generate and send confirmations, invoices, or service reports as needed.
⢠Collaborate with other departments (e.g., sales, billing, operations) to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications:
⢠High school diploma or equivalent required
⢠1+ years of experience in dispatching, customer service, or administrative support (industry experience a plus).
⢠Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
⢠Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
⢠Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
⢠Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
