Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.Duties & ResponsibilitiesScrubbing pots and pans and loading dishes onto machineSorts dishes, silverware, tray and pans, washes them, returns clean dishes to designated storage areasChecks dishes, silverware, trays and pans to insure proper cleaningOperates dish machine according to instructionsOther duties may include sweeping and moppingProvide excellent customer service to our customersMaintains a clean and sanitary dish roomKeeps all tray return and dish carts cleanCleans conveyor belt dailyRemoves garbage from dish room, rinse and sanitize garbage cansOther duties as assignedRequired CompetenciesAble to stand on one's feet for 3 -4 hours. Ability to follow instructions.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication and interpersonal skillsAble to move 35 – 50 poundsMinimum RequirementsAble to work in various temperatures associated with dish machine operationsHairnets and beard restraints are also a requirement in our food preparation areaMust be able to adhere to all safety and sanitation policies which include removal of all jewelry and piercings except for a plain wedding band while working in our facilities.In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
