Job Title: Disability Rights Attorney (Education-focused)

Location: Mostly remote / Ohio – Hybrid work environment

The Ideal Candidate:
β€’ Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
β€’ Active license and good standing with the Ohio Bar (or ability to obtain)
β€’ Admission to the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio (or ability to obtain)
β€’ Knowledge of and experience pursuing rights and remedies available under federal and state laws on vocational rehabilitation and protecting employees with disabilities
β€’ Experience with review and comment on federal and state laws, regulations, and rules in special education and vocational rehabilitation
β€’ Systemic advocacy on behalf of students or employees with disabilities
β€’ Experience collaborating with organizations and stakeholders in special education and vocational rehabilitation
β€’ Participation on or with state-wide committees or groups focused on special education or vocational rehabilitation
