Job Title: Disability Rights Attorney (Education-focused)
Location: Mostly remote / Ohio β Hybrid work environment

The Ideal Candidate:
β’ Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
β’ Active license and good standing with the Ohio Bar (or ability to obtain)
β’ Admission to the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio (or ability to obtain)
β’ Knowledge of and experience pursuing rights and remedies available under federal and state laws on vocational rehabilitation and protecting employees with disabilities
β’ Experience with review and comment on federal and state laws, regulations, and rules in special education and vocational rehabilitation
β’ Systemic advocacy on behalf of students or employees with disabilities
β’ Experience collaborating with organizations and stakeholders in special education and vocational rehabilitation
β’ Participation on or with state-wide committees or groups focused on special education or vocational rehabilitation
