About Disney Central and the Role

Disney Central is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where we strive to create magical experiences for our guests. As a Disability Access Service Video Chat Specialist, you'll be responsible for providing support to guests with disabilities, helping them navigate our services and ensuring that they have an exceptional experience. You'll work closely with our guests, understanding their needs and providing personalized support to ensure that they can enjoy our parks and services with ease.

Key Responsibilities:


Provide exceptional guest service to individuals with disabilities, responding to their inquiries and concerns via video chat
Assist guests in registering for the Disability Access Service, ensuring that they have a seamless and enjoyable experience
Support guests with their digital experience, navigating our website and My Disney Experience application
Collaborate with other team members to resolve guest issues and provide solutions to complex problems
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Participate in paid training classes and performance assessments to ensure that you're equipped to deliver exceptional service


Requirements and Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:


Sales and service experience in a customer service or contact center environment
Knowledge and interest in Disney properties, products, and services
Technical abilities and computer proficiency, with the ability to learn and work with various systems and applications, including Microsoft Office Tools and Guest Service Suite
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle confidential information and provide conflict resolution
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to ask discovery questions to acquire relevant information from guests and resolve accessibility service needs


Preferred Qualifications:


Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in a related field
Familiarity with Disney's Disability Access Service and other accessibility initiatives
Certification in customer service or a related field
