About the Role

This is a full-time, salaried leadership position—not a contract or temporary gig.

As the Director Product and Retention, you’ll lead everything related to product in terms of retention, optimizing the existing product, onboarding and customer experience.

Your mission?

Increase adoption, usage and retention of the our product through refinement.
In short your role is to use data, customer feedback, your gut and any other resources to optimize and refine the EXISTING product.

Your job is to take what we already have and improve/optimize it for the customer.

What You’ll Do
• ✅ Ensure we collect data and feedback on the product in the most effective way possible. Then deploy it to increase retention and adoption while decreasing churn.
• Hyper optimize onboarding to increase set up and adoption rates
• ️ Optimize the customer experience of existing features to increase use, ease of understanding and results.
• Improve how we communicate results, success and interact with the customer via our dashboard and communications.
• Figure out where the software is confusing or failing customers. Then design elegant and simple solutions to improve the experience.
• Work hand and hand with support to figure out the best ways to retain and improve customer experience.
• Create and improve our bug/error detections systems. Then prioritize maintenance and fix priority based around what's most important in relation to retention so that our work is as effective as possible.
• Work hand and hand with our development teams in achieving all the goals above.
• Be a one-person army in the beginning—hands-on, all-in

‍ ‍ Leadership & Team Building

While your initial focus will be execution, you’ll eventually have the opportunity to build out your own affiliate team.

Make no mistake: This is an extremely hands-on role to start. You’ll be in the trenches, driving results from day one—with operational assistance.

Requirements
• Proven track record reducing churn and increase usage of SaaS products with significant revenue/customer
• Preferably 5–10 years in software, results are paramount however.
• ‍ Vast experience with customer data collection and analyzing then deploying the data with results.
• ️ Strong skills in working with developer work flows and communicating with development teams. Extremely competence in learning and working within common developer workflows.

Compensation
• Base salary: $250,000
• Significant bonuses tied to performance
• Salary is based on experience, skills, and level
• Benefits not included in base salary (see below)

• 100% Remote — work from anywhere
