The Role: Director of Commercial Business Development

Key Responsibilities: Driving Growth and Excellence


Develop and Execute Growth Strategies: Craft and implement initiatives to drive revenue growth, enhance customer retention, and expand our market reach. Improve forecasting and advance our new logo acquisition and outreach programs to achieve sales targets.
Lead and Develop High-Performing Teams: Lead a diverse team of sales professionals with varying roles, experiences, and responsibilities. Foster a culture of excellence through coaching, mentoring, and talent development.
Optimize Sales Processes: Design and implement repeatable sales engagement frameworks and processes to elevate the customer experience. Define sales methodology frameworks, KPIs, and reporting structures to ensure accurate forecasting and target achievement.
Manage the Sales Cycle: Build a productive pipeline and oversee each phase of the sales process. Direct and manage deal cycles for all team members to ensure successful closures.
Drive New Revenue Opportunities: Contribute to the development of new revenue streams across our service lines. Identify and capitalize on emerging trends and opportunities in the cybersecurity market.
Nurture Client Relationships: Build and strengthen existing relationships with clients to drive retention and growth. Leverage industry thought leadership to stay ahead of the curve and deliver value to our clients.


Essential Qualifications: The Ideal Candidate Profile


Proven Track Record: 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity service sales with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Exceptional Communication Skills: Excellent communication, negotiating, and writing skills to effectively engage with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
Leadership and Coaching: Advanced leadership and coaching knowledge to develop and motivate high-performing teams.
Industry Expertise: Experience working with industry thought leaders and a deep understanding of the cybersecurity ecosystem.
Sales Performance: Proven record of service renewals, new logo acquisitions, and sales growth.
Analytical and Data-Driven: Highly motivated, self-starter, meticulous, positive, and energetic with a data-driven approach to sales and business development.
CRM Experience: Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, to manage sales processes and customer interactions.
