Director of Sector Engagements – EVM COE
Leidos is seeking a Director of Sector Engagements to join the Corporate Earned Value Management (EVM) and Controls Center of Excellence (COE), reporting to the Senior Director.About the RoleThis role leads how the EVM COE engages with Leidos’ five Sectors, bringing consistency, quality, and impact across programs. You’ll oversee COE team members supporting sector programs, drive adoption of COE solutions, and ensure strong alignment across program management, finance, scheduling, and contracts.You’ll work across the full program lifecycle — from proposal and award through execution — helping teams plan, execute, and deliver in compliance with EVMS standards and company policies.What You’ll DoStandardize and improve how the EVM COE supports Sector programsLead COE team leaders and their teams, ensuring high-quality support, data, and deliverablesAlign the right resources to the right programs at the right timePartner with program and line leadership to drive adoption of COE solutions and improve executionSupport program performance, operational decisions, and business strategyChampion EVMS, scheduling, PMX and other COE related policies, best practices, and training across the organizationCollaborate across functions to improve efficiency and deliver greater value to the businessBuild relationships with internal leaders and government customers to support growth and executionWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree with 12+ years of relevant experience, including 7+ years leading teams or major programsStrong leadership experience managing and integrating teams of dozens of people in a matrixed environmentDeep expertise in program management, EVMS, integrated scheduling, and in scaling solutions to the requirements, risks and needs of the programExperience supporting or achieving EVMS validations with government agenciesBroad functional knowledge (program management, finance, EVMS, contracts, scheduling, etc.)Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive adoption of new approachesProven ability to lead complex, cross-functional efforts and solve high-impact problemsUS citizenship is required with the ability to obtain security clearance as neededPreferredExperience with tools such as Microsoft Project, Deltek Cobra, OPDEC IPM, or similar EVMS/scheduling toolsIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
