Director of PR (Public Relations) — Equity Role
The Director of PR will shape the narrative and public image of Black Rose Records, LLC via our subsidiary Black Rose Media Group, Inc, managing all communications across press, influencer relations, and media outlets. You’ll be the voice behind every headline that defines BRR’s legacy. Core Responsibilities • Lead the development of PR strategy, press outreach, and brand storytelling. • Coordinate with Marketing, Talent Management, and Creative Direction to align public messaging. • Supervise publicists and PR coordinators to manage artist and company campaigns. • Draft press releases, speeches, and media briefings for executive leadership. • Act as media liaison during major events, product launches, or crises. Qualifications • 5+ years in PR, media, or brand communications. • Strong relationships with entertainment journalists, publications, and influencers. • Excellent writing, strategic communication, and crisis management skills. Compensation • Equity: 2–4% based on tenure and performance. • Commission: On PR retainers, sponsorships, or earned placements. • Track: Eligible for elevation to Chief Branding Officer or VP of Marketing.
