Director of Partnerships & Engagement (AI | Social Impact)

Talis Consulting Group is partnering with a mission-driven startup building an AI-powered simulation platform for social service professionals. Think of it as a “flight simulator” for real-world client conversations—creating a safe, repeatable environment to build skills, confidence, and consistency in moments that matter most. THE ROLE This person will sit at the intersection of product, partnerships, and real-world practice. You’ll work directly with industry experts and early partner organizations (~10) to ensure simulations are relevant, trauma-informed, and grounded in reality—while also helping drive onboarding, engagement, and long-term adoption. WHAT YOU’LL DO • Partner with advisory groups to shape content (scenarios, personas, skill development) • Support onboarding and engagement across nonprofit and public-sector partners • Build trusted relationships from frontline practitioners to senior leadership • Gather insights from partners and translate them into product direction • Identify adoption challenges and help solve them in real time WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR • 8+ years in social services, public health, or similar • 3+ years direct experience with case management (or closely related work) • Comfort with trauma-informed conversations and sensitive content • Ability to work across all levels of an organization • Someone who can operate both strategically and hands-on WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS You’ll directly influence how this platform is built and used—ensuring it reflects the realities of the field and supports professionals doing some of the most challenging, human-centered work out there.
