About the position
The Director of Decision Analytics and Underwriting plays a crucial role in the success of Cash Factory USA by providing leadership and strategic guidance in customer risk management and profitability programs. This hands-on position involves developing and implementing underwriting and loan performance strategies for the consumer lending business, ensuring loan portfolio growth, and collaborating with senior management on product development and pricing.
Responsibilities
Ā Develop and implement underwriting and customer performance models.

Ā Build, implement, and monitor models/strategies for responsiveness, pricing, and effectiveness of marketing channels.

Ā Monitor trends and maintain knowledge of market and industry developments related to underwriting and pricing models.

Ā Manage key metrics of the loan portfolio to achieve a risk/reward balance.
,
Ā Create and monitor lending policies and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulations.
,
Ā Ensure loan documentation is timely, complete, and accurate.
,
Ā Participate in the strategic planning process with senior managers.
,
Ā Serve as the principal technical advisor for consumer loan loss experience.
,
Ā Present information and business plans to the Credit Committee.
Requirements
Ā B.S. degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research or other quantitative disciplines; Master's degree preferred.

Ā Six to eight years of experience in lending principles, model development, and deployment in a consumer financial fintech or lending company.

Ā Minimum of 3 years of management experience.
,
Ā Advanced SQL and Python coding experience.
,
Ā Advanced knowledge of statistics and analytical tools.
,
Ā Experience in building statistical models from start to finish.
,
Ā Strong leadership abilities and interpersonal skills.
