Position Summary: CVS Pharmacy, Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Florham Park, NJ: Digital Principal Development Engineer to plan, initiate and manage digital and information technology (IT) projects. Duties include: analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet business requirements; determine the feasibility of solution designs and prepare technical design documentation; upgrade existing software applications and/or systems to improve the functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability and maintainability; write and review high-quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing; support applications, systems and databases used to process prescriptions, claims and related healthcare activities; collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance and software development best practices; and mentor junior team members. Multiple Openings. - Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Also requires five (5) years of experience with each of the following: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure and services; Redis and Splunk for complex data mining; Kubernetes or Docker; Spring Boot and MicroServices; Java, J2EE, Servlets, Hibernate, MySQL and NoSQL; Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Model Driven Architecture(MDA), and Domain Driven Design (DDD); providing domain support for healthcare or retail pharmacy organization; and OWASP (Open Web Application Security Project) standards for web/software application security. Telecommuting available. Pay Range: $169229.00/year to $280000.00/year.
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
