About the position

Responsibilities
• Coordinates and executes an editorial calendar for multiple social media accounts on Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
• Collaborates with staff across job functions and geographies to ensure social media presence aligns with organizational priorities and values.
• Tracks and reports metrics and trends relevant to social media accounts and web pages.
• Makes recommendations for iterating social media approaches to best reach target audiences and advance conservation goals.
• Produces digital content for web and email as needed.
• Manages digital and photo archive.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5 years' related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience cultivating and managing client/customer relationships.
• Experience writing, editing, and proofreading.
• Experience organizing and coordinating multiple projects.

Nice-to-haves
• Multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience preferred.
• Experience in marketing to diverse audiences.
• Experience creating and posting social media content on behalf of an organization.
• Experience managing multiple social media accounts.
• Experience producing web pages and e-mail newsletters.
• Solid knowledge of best practices for social media metrics reporting.
• Experience with social media scheduling software (e.g. Khoros).
• Experience with design software (e.g. Canva) as well as photo and video editing software (e.g., Adobe CS).
• Experience with email software such as MailChimp.
• Experience with web production and content management systems (e.g., AEM).
• Proven enthusiasm for developing knowledge of social media trends and evolving platforms.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
