The following describes in general terms the purpose and scope of the position. We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated Digital Marketing Intern - SEO Focus to join our growing marketing department. If you’re an ambitious individual who wants to build a career in marketing, then we want to work with you!
Key Responsibilities
• Document local keyword targets, naming conventions, and service differences by location
• Support optimization of Google Business Profiles and assist with listings setup for Bing, Apple, and Facebook
• Complete Google verification steps for new and existing service centers
• Assist with launch readiness for new locations (including SEO setup and listings)
• Build and manage a content calendar for seasonal listings updates (e.g., hurricane shutters)
• Set up automations within BrightLocal for reporting and ongoing maintenance
• Prepare reporting dashboards to monitor SEO and listings performance
• Conduct SEO research and assist with foundational tasks like keyword mapping, metadata reviews, and competitor analysis
Requirements
Ideal Candidate:
• Recent grad or student seeking hands-on experience in digital marketing and SEO
Nice To Have
• Experience with WordPress, BrightLocal, or tools like Semrush, Ahrefs, ScreamingFrog
• Familiarity with GA4 and Google Search Console
