About the position Digital Forensics Cybersecurity Advisor The Opportunity: To achieve an organization’s mission, leaders need strong team members who can support digital forensics. That is why we need you, an experienced Digital Forensics Cybersecurity Advisor who can provide high-quality support. As part of our team, you'll serve as a strategic technical spe cia list for the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health ( ARPA-H ) , helping conceptualize, create, and execute advanced government-funded research and development (R&D) programs to accelerate better health outcomes for everyone. You’ll work with world-class scientists and engineers to support the development of high-impact solutions to society's most challenging health problems. You will leverage technical expertise to provide strategic assessments of new technologies in support to senior ARPA-H decision makers. You’ll maintain responsibility for producing and presenting findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and clients on the feasibility and potential impact of future research programs, assisting with the management of current programs, and facilitating commer cia lization of successfully developed technologies. You'll serve as a Digital Forensics Cybersecurity Advisor, helping clients to understand issues related to cybersecurity and investigating any incidents. Your attention to detail, flexibility, communication skills, understanding of the client's mission, and problem-solving will enable the mission's success. This position is a Hybrid role with Booz Allen. Candidate is expected to work on-site at a Booz Allen or Client Facility 20-50% of your time, as needed. Responsibilities • Work holistically across ARPA-H to support digital forensics and investigate cybersecurity incidents. • Investigate physical and virtual assets to support security and integrity across Windows, MacOS, and iOS operating systems. • C ond uct investigations using Micro sof t Defender, CrowdStrike, and common digital forensics tools. • Work within Micro sof t Azure and Amazon Web Services ( AWS ) to assess risk posture of technical projects. • Identify and evaluate risks asso cia ted with ongoing technical projects and programs and propose solutions to mitigate risks. • Build strong relationships and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams. • Communicate complex cybersecurity concepts to varied audiences. Requirements • 5+ years of experience managing evidence collection, preservation, and chain of custody • 5+ years of experience in the development of standard operating procedures and playbooks for c ond ucting digital forensic investigations • Experience performing forensic imaging and analysis of physical virtual devices • Experience coordinating with legal, privacy, and incident response teams during an investigation • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time • Bachelor’s degree Nice-to-haves • 7+ years of experience managing evidence collection, preservation, and chain of custody • 7+ years of experience in the development of standard operating procedures and playbooks for c ond ucting digital forensic investigations • Experience with U.S. government or R & D health organizations • Ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities • Ability to manage multiple short and long-term projects effectively • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills • Master’s degree Benefits • health • life • disability • financial • retirement benefits • paid leave • professional development • tuition assistance • work-life programs • dependent care • recognition awards program Apply tot his job
