Develop copy specific to the critical moments of the consumer journey throughout the digital eco-system.
Drive cohesive full funnel messaging to drive awareness, consideration and consideration.
Craft cohesive messaging across all Carhartt D2C channels as well as for our wholesale partner Amazon.
Serve as a protector of the Carhartt brand voice while adhering to and enforcing brand standards and guidelines.
Maintain consistency of story and ensure messaging aligns at all points along the consumer journey.
Deliver branded, cross category copy in support of strategic initiatives such as durability, fit, etc.
Attend and actively contribute to relevant project and production meetings
Be comfortable presenting creative to our partners in marketing as well as leadership
Collaborate with external agency partners when applicable to deliver consistent and efficient results on time and on budget.
Remain current on industry and cultural trends to help Carhartt relating to advertising, copywriting, and social.
Education
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, advertising, or related discipline or equivalent years of work experience may be considered in lieu of degree or portfolio school.
Required Skills and Experience
5 or more years of advertising/marketing copywriting experience across all digital media platforms, with specific expertise in Amazon.
Ideal candidate has previous experience writing for both the ecommerce and retail spaces.
Strong creative portfolio with fully-integrated campaign work.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, thorough attention to detail, strong prioritization, project management skills, and the ability to set and meet tight deadlines.
Team player with willingness to pitch-in on occasional quick-turn assignments and unforeseen needs.
Ability to address content challenges as they relate to video, digital spaces, and retail environments.
Working Conditions
Typical office environment; office setting. Extended periods of time sitting, standing, typing on a computer is required.
Willing to work some weekends if necessary.
Traveling for production (potentially up to 20%).
This position has a Remote location: Associate will have no regular requirement to be on-site. Travel on-site is limited to special events.
