We are looking for a DevOps SME / Architect to lead platform engineering standards across a multi-cloud, hybrid environment. This is a Guild / COE-level role, requiring deep expertise in infrastructure, automation, and cloud architecture, along with the ability to define and scale DevOps practices across teams.

Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Architect and standardize DevOps practices across AWS, GCP, and hybrid cloud environments
ā¢ Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code frameworks using Terraform, CDK, or Pulumi
ā¢ Design and implement scalable Kubernetes-based platforms (Helm, deployments, orchestration)
ā¢ Develop reusable CI/CD modules and automation frameworks
ā¢ Lead cloud architecture for large-scale systems including compute, storage, networking, and databases
ā¢ Debug complex multi-cloud and third-party integration issues
ā¢ Implement observability, incident management, and reliability systems
ā¢ Define and enforce security best practices across infrastructure and pipelines
ā¢ Drive performance tuning, scalability, and system optimization
ā¢ Establish disaster recovery and backup strategies
ā¢ Mentor engineers and drive adoption of DevOps best practices across teams
ā¢ Collaborate with cross-functional teams and offshore engineering teams
Qualifications:
ā¢ 15+ years of experience in DevOps / Platform Engineering / Cloud Architecture
ā¢ Strong hands-on experience in multi-cloud environments (AWS + GCP)
ā¢ Deep expertise in:
ā¢ Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK, or Pulumi)
ā¢ Kubernetes (Helm, deployments, scaling, production systems)
ā¢ Docker and containerized platforms
ā¢ Strong programming/scripting skills (Python preferred)
ā¢ Experience building reusable infrastructure modules and automation frameworks
ā¢ Strong understanding of networking (DNS, VPCs, load balancers, VPNs, firewalls)
ā¢ Experience with databases (SQL, tuning, DynamoDB, Aurora, etc.)
ā¢ Experience implementing CI/CD systems and reusable pipelines
ā¢ Experience with observability and incident management systems
ā¢ Strong documentation practices (GitHub, CLI tooling, etc.)
Requirements (Critical):
ā¢ Proven experience leading DevOps initiatives across teams (Guild / COE model preferred)
ā¢ Experience mentoring engineers and driving adoption of best practices
ā¢ Ability to define standards, not just execute tasks
Security & Reliability:
ā¢ Strong understanding of security best practices and vulnerability management
ā¢ Experience in performance tuning and optimization
ā¢ Experience in disaster recovery and backup strategies
ā¢ Experience in hybrid cloud environments
Preferred:
ā¢ Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments
ā¢ Experience with frontend/backend build systems (npm, Maven, etc.) Prior experience with Apple or similar large-scale tech organizations
