We are seeking a Team lead with strong frontend development experience and solid backend expertise in Java who is ready to dive into Jopari’s leading technologies that drive the complex business requirements supporting the healthcare and finance industries. As a technical leader, you will work closely with product managers, designers and backend engineers to build seamless, responsive and performant applications. You will also play a key role in mentoring team members and driving technical best practices.
The position location is hybrid in our Concord, CA office or remote.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
Create user-friendly, responsive interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Develop interactive components like forms, animations, and modals.
Write efficient JavaScript to handle dynamic interactions and data manipulation.
Utilize frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js for complex applications.
Optimize front-end performance by minimizing requests, caching, and optimizing images.
Ensure code readability and maintainability.
Ensure functionality across different browsers.
Implement accessibility standards for inclusive web applications.
Collaborate with product managers and UX designers to convert visual designs into front-end code.
Acquire a thorough comprehension of Jopari’s technology and system infrastructure and provide guidance on enhancements and improvements.
Lead, contribute and provide technical direction and guidance to team members in best practice, design patterns, and coding standards.
Conduct code review to ensure quality and promote a positive learning environment.
Drive improvement initiatives for test automation.
Identify opportunities for improvements, innovation and innovative technologies that will help Jopari with data integration.
Other development, engineering activities and tasks as directed by your manager.
What are the requirements for this position?
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in healthcare and software development,
• 10 to 15+ years of experience in software development with focus on designing and building complex, scalable systems
• 3 to 5 years experience leading a team
• Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript and modern UI frameworks (React, Vue, Angular)
• Previous experience using Component libraries like PrimeReact, MUI
• Strong proficiency in one or more programming such as Java, Python, C++
• Experience with RESTful APIs, XML, JSON, SOAP, YAML, JavaScript, Ajax, JSP

Understanding of authentication and security standards (JWT, OAuth)
• Experience with Maven, Gradle, Kubernetes, Docker, virtual Box, ELK Stack, Ant, Kibana, Elastic
• Strong SQL querying database skills.
• Experience with automated test frameworks.
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.

Experience with Source Control systems like Git / Bit Bucket, CVS, TFS, VSS, and/or Subversion.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI)
• Experience with Continuous integration CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Experience with working in an agile environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
Knowledge of DevOps principles to manage and maintain implementation testing environments.
Knowledge of Shift Left principles including Test Driven Development initiatives.
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office, and Teams.
Knowledge of Streamsets, Talend, Airbyte, and Open source ETL tools.
Must be self-motivated, can work independently.
Must be an analytical and creative problem solver.
Ability to troubleshoot customer implementation issues.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
A passion for delivering high-quality customer solutions and creating great customer experience.
Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive customers and internal information.
Knowledge of HIPAA/PHI/PII working environment.
