Expectations and Tasks: Analyze and solve issues in existing and new code. Demonstrate full responsibility for accepted tasks and therefore demonstrate a high level of quality, speed, reliability and efficiency. Work closely together with other team members to ensure the team’s success. Enhance skills beyond own core functional focus and work on other tasks for the benefit of the team. Have proficient overall product knowledge and share domain expertise within team. If acting as Scrum Master in the LEAN context, will be responsible for `promoting and supporting Scrum by helping everyone understand Scrum theory, practices, rules, and values. Scrum Master is a ‘servant-leader’ for the Product Owner and the Development Team. Facilitate Scrum Events on request or as required. Coach the Development Team in self-organization. Remove impediments to the Development Team’s progress. Education and Occupational Experience : Bachelor ’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively , a Master ’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study . Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience : Prior experience, internship, or academic coursework in each of the following: Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) including Java with J2EE Library; SAP UI5 library and SAP Web Components; Frontend development using JavaScript, HTML5, LESS, CSS, JSON and AJAX; JSPs for front-end development; Struts and Apache Tomcat; Developing and optimizing database queries using SQL, SSMS, or ORACLE; Building scalable and responsive web applications; Writing JUnit test cases and coordinating with QA for test cases; Agile methodology, understanding and implementing business requirements; and SOAP and REST Webservices. Compensation Range Transparency : The annual base salary range for this position is $ 109,845 - $137,700. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $109,845 - $153,000 . The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
