We are looking for a Deputy ServiceNow Project Manager who are excited to grow with us. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities
Support the management of large-scale projects or multiple small to mid-range ServiceNow implementation projects, with overall accountability for project success.
Collaborate with project sponsor(s) and the team to establish performance goals, metrics, and baselines.
Assist in developing financial estimates and financial models for projects, as necessary.
Implement and follow Project Management Office standard methodologies, processes, and tools; assist in developing and maintaining project documentation, work plans, and deliverables. Guide others in the use of methodology and tools.
Coordinate and motivate project teams, support work assignments and schedules, and ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget. Guide and monitor work performance as needed.
Assist in coordinating project activities as appropriate.
Maintain accountability to leadership for project delivery and direction.
Establish and maintain effective communications with team members, stakeholders, senior management, and contacts. Communicate project status to stakeholders through routine status reports and meetings.
Support the maintenance of issues logs, assisting in the identification and resolution of technical and business issues.
Ensure all project time is accounted for, and team member activities are routinely collected and reported in a standard fashion.
Estimate resources needed on projects to ensure success.
Where appropriate, coordinate vendor activities to support project success.
Assist in the advancement of project management competencies, including methodology development, training, quality reviews, and mentoring others engaged in project management activities.
Requirements
US Citizenship required.
Must have experience supporting ServiceNow implementations.
Must be local to the Washington DC metro area.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
Minimum 4 years' experience in management and/or project management to support projects and guide others on project management techniques.
Minimum 4 years' experience supporting ServiceNow implementations.
Excellent oral and written communication skills to provide clear messages to all management levels.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strong analysis and problem-solving skills with innovative thinking.
Experience with standard project management tools, methodologies, and frameworks.
Experience in supporting large-scale projects.
