Dental & Oral Maxillofacial Coder

Dental & Oral Maxillofacial Coder Part-Time I Remote We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Dental & Oral Maxillofacial Coder to join our medical coding team. This role is focused on professional fee (profee) coding, supporting oral and maxillofacial surgeons and dental specialists in accurately coding patient services and procedures for reimbursement and compliance. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of CPT®, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and dental coding systems (CDT), along with a strong understanding of oral surgery terminology, payer guidelines, and documentation standards. Job Requirements: To meet the needs of this role, we request candidates with the following qualifications apply: • Dental coding experience (CDT) strongly preferred • Minimum of 3 years of coding experience in dental, oral & maxillofacial surgery required. • Experienced in coding for E/M, procedures, global periods, modifiers, etc. • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and surgical procedures related to oral surgery • Epic and 3M experience required as well as familiarity with charge entry in Epic. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills • Willing to train on facility coding for dental/OMFS A Little About Us: CodingAID, a division of Managed Resources Inc. is a nationwide leading provider of medical coding support, coding and compliance reviews, educational programs, recruitment, revenue cycle management, and many other managed healthcare solutions.
