Job Overview: As a Senior Operations Analyst within Delta's Operations Analysis and Performance (OAP) team, you will play a critical role in providing actionable insights through data analysis, modeling, and cross-functional collaboration to improve operational and financial performance. You will contribute to the success of the Airport Customer Service (ACS) Resource Planning group by analyzing key operational and staffing metrics, supporting predictive modeling, and identifying efficiencies in resource allocation.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Modeling: Develop and analyze predictive models to forecast ACS resource needs and improve staffing efficiency across multiple divisions.
Operational Improvement: Investigate asset usage and identify opportunities for optimization to increase operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Reporting & Insights: Create and present detailed reports and analysis on resource planning initiatives to senior leadership, providing insights into business challenges, potential solutions, and trade-offs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to support complex process improvements and project management initiatives.
Stakeholder Communication: Present findings to OAP and division leaders, including senior management, ensuring clear, concise, and relevant reporting.
Support Decision-Making: Serve as an internal consultant to stakeholders, offering insights to help drive results and improve performance.
Safety & Security Focus: Consistently prioritize safety, security, and well-being of yourself, others, and company information.
Qualifications:
Experience with Analytical Tools: Proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or other data analysis tools is required.
Business Acumen & Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex datasets and oversee projects involving cross-functional teams.
Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to create clear and impactful reports and presentations for senior leadership.
Team Player: Strong collaborator, detail-oriented, and able to perform well under pressure.
Influence Without Authority: Ability to impact decisions and drive outcomes in a matrixed environment.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is required.

Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
