Job Summary
We're seeking a talented College Co-op to join our Software Engineering team as a remote employee. As a Co-op, you'll work on a variety of projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities:
Work on exciting projects and contribute to the development of innovative solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software applications
Assist in the development of software performance and reliability engineering solutions
Participate in omnichannel technology projects, including reservations technology, consumer experience, and commercial and enterprise mobility
Contribute to the development of AI and automation solutions
Work closely with IT teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
Develop and maintain technical documentation and participate in testing and quality assurance activities
What You Need to Succeed
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be able to commit to working full-time (40 hours per week) for two rotational semesters
Must be an undergraduate university student with a 2.5 GPA or better
Must have completed a minimum of 2 years in a university program
Degree emphasis should be in Computer Science, Software Development, Systems/Industrial/Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems, Data Science, Data Analytics/Operations Research, Cyber Security, Business Management, or a related field
Strong analytical, leadership, written, and verbal communication skills
Excellent work ethic and ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and prioritize safety and security
Familiarity with cloud technology, software development lifecycles, and/or PC hardware components and/or maintenance
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Azure
Knowledge of data analytics and data visualization tools
Experience with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL
