Job Description of Delivery Service Representative: As a Delivery Service Representative, your main duty would be to deliver packages to customers at predetermined locations. It is your responsibility to ensure that the packages reach their destinations safely, within the established timeframe, and in excellent condition, which would solidify FedEx's reputation as a trusted provider of efficient delivery services. Responsibilities of Delivery Service Representative: • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering packages promptly and securely. • Discharge and distribute the packages from the delivery van. • Stay on track with a prearranged path and timetable. • Keep accurate documentation and records of all deliveries. • Contact dispatchers and clients as required. • To maintain a safe and productive working environment, safety protocols and procedures should be strictly followed. • Ensure all necessary vehicle maintenance checks are completed and documented, in order to avoid potential vehicle issues. Qualifications of Delivery Service Representative: • Strong time management and organizational skills. • Excellent communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • High school diploma or equivalent. • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record. • Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds.
