Virtual DHH Teacher (Part-Time & Per Diem)
20252026 School Year | Remote | California
VocoVision is seeking qualified Teachers of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) for part-time and per diem remote opportunities supporting California school districts during the 20252026 academic year.
Role Overview:
• Provide virtual instruction and support to DHH students
• Collaborate with school staff and general education teachers to promote student success
• Participate in IEP meetings, consultations, and assist with DHH equipment/resource needs
Requirements:
• Active California teaching certification (CTC)
• Masters degree in Deaf Education
• Previous experience teaching in a virtual setting
• Liability insurance required for all 1099 contract roles
Position Details:
Part-Time
• Start Date: August 13, 2025
• Caseload: 2 students
• Hours: 510 hours per week
Per Diem
• Start Date: August 1, 2025
• Caseload: 1 student
• Hours: 23 hours per month
Employment Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
